Yesterday Sinn Féin launched its manifesto.

Marriage

Religious Liberty

“In any future negotiations Sinn Féin will uphold our democratic mandate and give full expression to the rights and entitlements of all sections of the electorate regardless of national identity, political allegiance, religious belief or none, sexual orientation, gender, class, disability, age, geography, or ethnic origin.” (p8)

“Sinn Féin is committed to guaranteeing religious and civil liberty, equal rights and equal opportunities for all citizens. There can be no place for sectarianism, racism and misogyny in our institutions and our society.” (p10)

“Peoples sexual orientation must be respected and accommodated. The rights of the transgender community must also be respected.” (p10)
